Festivus Trivia '10

Postby Big Poppa » Wed Jul 28, 2010 9:58 am

Hey everyone, I know the board is not too popular this time of year so I will be sending out an email to all the teams that had contacted me expressing interest also, but things are starting to take shape! We are about a month and a half away from the contest and the website is being updated frequently. The theme and logo will be posted soon and the newsletter is due to come out in a couple of weeks. Registration begins Friday, September 3 and then the 10th and 11th it is trivia time! So start getting ready, it's almost time to play trivia again!

All I have to say is:

In the middle of the earth in the land of the Shire
lives a brave little hobbit whom we all admire.
With his long wooden pipe,
fuzzy, woolly toes,
he lives in a hobbit-hole and everybody knows him

I think Facebook is taking over my life. The first thing I went to do is to "Like" this comment.

Here at TFC we're really looking forward to the contest and counting down the days!! We're hoping for more participation than ever in this contest both on our team's level and teams in the contest overall! It'd be nice to see 10+ teams in it this year.....

...and as improbable as it might seem, we're really hoping to give Dad's Computers a run for their money this year and to FINALLY bring home some hardware for TFC!

Just a reminder to all interested teams that out of town teams can send in their registration info now (we've received stuff already from a few teams) and all teams can email us at bigpoppa67@gmail.com to set up a registration place/time. Registration opens Friday evening and teams will start receiving the Trivia Snapshots and IDs/all that good stuff Monday, assuming we have your stuff by then. A full Labor Day to work on trivia pictures, what could be better?
